How does marriage affect a Will?
Your Will is revoked automatically on the day you are married. This does not apply if the Will is created “in anticipation of marriage”. If the Will makes it clear that you will be married then your Will is still valid. A solicitor should be employed in the drafting of a Will to ensure this is clear and that your Will is valid. How does divorce affect a Will?
